Klopp brought Dortmund back from the brink to the pinnacle then back to the brink.

As a Dortmund fan (I was born just outside) I am saddened that Klopp took the job at Liverpool as I'd never want to see him fail and I'd never want to see Liverpool succeed.

I want Liverpool to lose every game they play.

In fairness, he did actually say that he felt a bit lonely but he doesn't blame the fans and it's his and the players jobs to make the fans feel confident that they can turn things around and make hem want to stay.

I like klopp, but I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Liverpool still struggle. Interested to see who they bring in during January - I have a nasty feeling they'll be sniffing around payet

CS - Agreed, also times have changed. Football is expensive now and Liverppol fans don't expect to shell out to see them beaten at home to Crystal Palace. So these days it's more of a 'useless cunts, I'm off down the boozer where it's warm' approach instead of cheering on the boys, that's just how it has gone in the main. If you don't want your fans to fuck off early don't be losing at home to Crystal Palace.

I don't give a fuck, but it wasn't the best idea for Klopp to come out with that so early on.

Years ago most people lived near the ground so it wasn't really an issue.

Now most of the support moved out, added to which you can't park anywhere within a 5 mile radios of the ground, the tube is barely running and if it is it's a half hour wait and it makes for a long journey home.

Its understandable people leave UP a bit early

Taking that thought a bit further, it was probably just as common back when we had standing, only the crowds were more mobile and people would have simply spread out to take advantage of the extra space: it would take a good 20-30% to leave, I would imagine, before it became noticeable from the other side of the ground or on camera. You can't miss a bunch of empty seats.

Not unusual though is it in the modern game, when im watching games you often see the stands emptying as it gets close to full time particularly if the home side is losing, and you can always tell the away fans section as they dont leave!

Think its always been the case, just these days more people get the hump if there team is getting beat and leave rather than stay and try and encourage them on.
